Control Why two rotors?
Control Why Two Rotors?
The three in one control unit provides both main motor mixing, control and incorporates a heading lock gyro. All three functions can be fine tuned to attain optimum stability and performance. Access is through one of the front windows of the MD 520N scale body so fine tuning can be done easily without having to remove any parts to gain access. The receiver is a Spektrum 6100e unit and provides a rock steady, responsive RF link. The Blade CX3’s coaxial, counter-rotating blades cancel out the rotational torque that makes hovering a conventional heli so difficult for first-time pilots. They also make rudder turns much easier by simply slowing one blade or the other without sacrificing any of the inherent stability. This truly is a heli just about anyone can fly, right out of the box.
